Facilitation

Helping groups to learn together is not easy, especially when you are operating in a highly pressurised work environment that demands visible and measureable results.

This is where skilled facilitation and good process design can really help. I offer design and facilitation of workshops and 'away days' to help:

  • Develop a deeper and more shared understanding about strategic challenges and related practical actions
  • Deepen clinical commitment to addressesing large-scale reconfiguration and service improvement agendas
  • Generate or accelerate implementation of local service strategies

Experience has taught me that learning events are more effective when:

  • Designed in a bespoke fashion, in close partnership with the client
  • The design isn't over structured
  • The facilitation style helps participants to discover insights for themselves
  • Set-piece OD techniques and approaches are 'blended' in ways that suit an events' purpose

Although not technique-led I have extensive experience of several OD and change management methods
